Men’s returning players

The Aggies will return this season with one starter and four players from last year’s team. Returning to the team is sophomore wing Jalen Moore, senior forward Sean Harris, sophomore guard JoJo McGlaston, and sophomore guard Viko Noma’aea.

During his first year as an Aggie, Moore shot 52.8 percent from the field (66-125), 38.9 percent from 3-point range (14-36) and 71.1 percent at the free throw line (32-45). One of four Aggies to play in all 32 games, including five starts, he averaged 5.6 points, 2.7 rebounds, 0.8 assists and 0.3 blocks.

Moore recorded at least five points and five rebounds in seven games last season. He also tallied double-figures in four games a year ago, and scored six or more points in 14 matchups. He is expected to lead the way for the Aggies this upcoming season.

Harris was granted a sixth year of eligibility by the NCAA after recovering from a knee injury. Last season he averaged 0.6 points and 0.9 rebounds, while shooting 20.0 percent from the field (2-10) and 50 percent at the free throw line (2-4) in limited action.

Harris played in 10 games last year, with a start on senior night against Wyoming. During the Wyoming game he set career highs in points (4), rebounds (3), assists (2), steals (1) and minutes played (11). He will be the only senior on the 2014-15 roster.

As a freshman McGlaston appeared in 24 games, averaging 2.3 points, 0.5 rebounds and 0.5 assists. He played an average of 8.3 minutes per game.

He shot 34.4 percent (21-61) from the field, 42.9 percent (9-21) behind the 3-point arc, and 40 percent (4-of-10) at the free throw line. During the 2013-14 season he scored in 13 games, six of which he scored five or more points.

Changing his jersey from 10 to 1, Viko Noma’aea is returning for his sophomore season. Playing in 14 games last season, Noma’aea averaged 1.4 points, 0.3 rebounds and 0.2 assists. He shot 36.8 percent from the field (7-19), 35.7 percent from 3-point range (5-14), and made his only free throw attempt.

In four of the 14 games he played in, he made at least one 3-pointer.
