First to play at LCL on Friday, April 6 at WhySound.

Artist Feature: Uiniti

Mike Wechter and Emmi Smith from the group, “Uiniti” performed at the Whysound venue on Friday night of Logan City Limits. Wechter played the piano and drums while Smith accompanied him on the flute. Wechter is a local artist who is just starting his music career and Logan City Limits gave him the opportunity to share his talents.

“We are super excited and happy to be a part of Logan City Limits. I think that is it cool that it is free. It is nice that people can come out and appreciate art and music,” Wechter said.

The group name “Uiniti” influenced his positive music style. Wechter wrote and performed all original songs. Wechter rapped and sang his lyrics. The group’s style is a mix of hip hop and  classical, with rock and African inspired rhythms.

“It basically is a blend of everything I like listening to,” Wechter said.

“Uiniti” music can be found on on Soundcloud, Spotify, itunes, and including free downloads on Bandcamp with the spelling VNITI.

“People should check out my music because it sounds nice, it fills a void, and really it is different and enjoyable,” Wechter said.
