“Markus Zusak, he wrote a another novel called “I am the Messenger.” It’s about a young man in his late teens and he feels he’s already peaked and doesn’t have a purpose. One day he gets a playing card in the mail to go and do these different things to help people. He doesn’t know where it’s from though. So it’s about his journey to help these different people. It gives him a sense of purpose. I think it is a good message that someone’s sense of purpose can come from helping other people. It’s a good book. I read it right at that time in my life where I was feeling the same as the character. I think it’s something all young people need to read.”
