  1. Toronto Raptors 33-12 UP 2

Toronto went 3-0 last week with wins over Atlanta, Brooklyn and Washington in which Kawhi Leonard has 41 points and 10 rebounds in double overtime. The Raptors take on Boston, Phoenix and Memphis this week.

  1. Golden State Warriors 29-14 SAME

Golden State beat New York, Chicago and Dallas last week. Steph Curry had 48 points against the Mavs and only took three free-throws in the game. The Warriors play Denver, New Orleans and the Los Angeles Clippers this week.

  1. Denver Nuggets 29-13 DOWN 2

Denver finished last week 3-2 with a notable loss to Phoenix. Nikola Jokic finished the week strong with 40 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists in a win over Portland. The Nuggets take on Golden State, Chicago and Cleveland all at home this week.

  1. Milwaukee Bucks 30-12 SAME

Milwaukee went 3-1 last week, defeating Utah, Houston and Atlanta and lost to the surging Wizards. The Bucks play Miami, Memphis and Orlando this week.

  1. Indiana Pacers 28-14 UP 1

Indiana beat Cleveland and New York last week but lost a blowout to the Celtics. Victor Oladipo currently leads the NBA in clutch field goal percentage with 63.2 percent. The Pacers take on Phoenix, Philadelphia and Dallas at home this week.

  1. Oklahoma City Thunder 26-16 DOWN 1

Oklahoma City split with San Antonio last week and lost to a hot Minnesota team. The Thunder play Atlanta, Philadelphia and the Los Angeles Lakers this week.

  1. Philadelphia 76ers 28-16 SAME

Philadelphia went 2-2 last week with close games against Atlanta and New York. Ben Simmons had 20 points and 22 rebounds in a win over the Knicks on Sunday. The 76ers take on Minnesota, Indiana and Oklahoma City this week.

  1. Portland Trail Blazers 26-18 UP 4

Portland lost a close game to Denver on Sunday after beating New York, Chicago and Charlotte last week. The Blazers play Sacramento, Cleveland and New Orleans this week.

  1. Boston Celtics 25-17 UP 1

Boston started its week strong with wins over Brooklyn and Miami but then lost to Miami and Orlando to end its week. The Celtics have a busy week against Brooklyn, Toronto, Memphis and Atlanta.

  1. Houston Rockets 24-18 DOWN 1

Houston finished last week with wins over Denver and Cleveland but lost to Milwaukee and Orlando. James Harden finished just 1-17 from 3-point range against the Magic. Clint Capela also was ruled out for 4-6 weeks Mondays with a thumb injury. The Rockets have a homestand this week against Memphis, Brooklyn and the Los Angeles Lakers.

  1. Utah Jazz 23-21 UP 2

Utah went 3-1 last week anchored by the top defense in the NBA since Nov. 20, a 28-game stretch. The team also has one of the easiest remaining schedules in the NBA. The Jazz take on Detroit, Cleveland and the Los Angeles Clippers this week.

  1. San Antonio Spurs 25-19 DOWN 4

San Antonio went 2-2 last week with a win over Detroit, loss to Memphis, and split games with the Thunder. The Spurs play Charlotte, Dallas, Minnesota and the Los Angeles Clippers this week.

  1. Los Angeles Clippers 24-18 DOWN 2

Los Angeles finished last week 1-2 with losses to Denver and Detroit. Team owner Steve Balmer tried to shake former-Clipper Blake Griffins hand before its game against the Pistons, but Griffin ran away from him, wanting nothing to do with it. The Clippers have a busy week against New Orleans, Utah, Golden State and San Antonio.

  1. Miami Heat 21-20 SAME

Miami beat Boston and Memphis last week but lost to a solid Denver team. The Heat live on the road this week against Milwaukee, Detroit and Chicago.

  1. Los Angeles Lakers 23-21 SAME

Los Angeles is now 3-7 without LeBron James after a 2-2 week. The team looks all out of sorts without James, who will be re-evaluated on Wednesday. The Lakers play Chicago, Oklahoma City and Houston this week.

  1. Minnesota Timberwolves 21-22 UP 2

Minnesota is playing much better under interim coach Ryan Saunders and finished last week 2-1. Karl-Anthony Towns had a game with 27 points and 27 rebounds last week. The Wolves play Philadelphia, San Antonio and Phoenix this week.

  1. Brooklyn Nets 21-23 DOWN 1

Brooklyn finished its week with losses to Boston and Toronto on the road but was able to defeat the Hawks at home. The Nets take on Boston, Houston and Orlando this week.

  1. Sacramento Kings 22-21 UP 1

Sacramento finished 3-1 last week with wins over Orlando, Detroit and Charlotte but had a bad loss to Phoenix. The Kings play Portland, Charlotte and Detroit this week.

  1. New Orleans Pelicans 20-23 UP 3

New Orleans finished 2-1 last week with wins over two bad teams, Memphis and Cleveland, but had a loss to Miami to finish its week. The Pelicans take on the Clippers, Warriors and Portland on the road this week.

  1. Dallas Mavericks 20-23 SAME

Dallas had a rough week losing to the Lakers, Suns and Warriors but did manage to defeat the Timberwolves on Friday. Luka Doncic is still second in the Western Conference in All-Star voting, behind only LeBron James. The Mavericks have a short week against San Antonio and Indiana.

  1. Orlando Magic 19-24 UP 3

Orlando started its week slow with losses to Sacramento and Utah but finished strong with big wins over Boston and Houston. The Magic take on Detroit, Brooklyn and Milwaukee this week.

  1. Washington Wizards 18-26 UP 3

Washington has played much better without John Wall and beat two good teams in Philadelphia and Milwaukee last week. The team also lost a game to the 76ers and finished its week losing in double overtime to the Raptors. The Wizards have a very short week with only one game against New York.

  1. Memphis Grizzlies 19-23 DOWN 2

Memphis finished 1-2 last week, beating San Antonio but losing to Miami and New Orleans. The Grizzlies have a busy week against Houston, Milwaukee, Boston and Toronto.

  1. Charlotte Hornets 19-23 DOWN 7

Charlotte had a rough week last week, losing to the Clippers, Blazers and Kings. The Hornets play San Antonio, Sacramento, Phoenix and Indiana.

  1. Detroit Pistons 18-23 DOWN 2

Detroit defeated the Clippers last week in Blake Griffin’s homecoming game in which he had 44 points and eight rebounds. The team lost all three of its other games in the week. The Pistons take on Utah, Orlando, Miami and Sacramento this week.

  1. Atlanta Hawks 13-30 SAME

Atlanta lost to Toronto, Brooklyn and Milwaukee last week but managed to beat Philadelphia thanks to a John Collin’s jumper with 9.5 seconds left. The Hawks play Oklahoma City and Boston this week.

  1. Phoenix Suns 11-33 UP 2

Phoenix had a strong week with wins over Sacramento, Dallas and Denver. The Suns take a road trip this week with games against Indiana, Toronto, Charlotte and Minnesota.

  1. Chicago Bulls 10-33 SAME

Chicago lost to three very good teams last week in Portland, Golden State and Utah. The Bulls play the Lakers, Nuggets and Heat this week.

  1. New York Knicks 10-33 DOWN 2

New York finished 0-4 last week with losses to Portland, Golden State, Indiana and Philadelphia. The Knicks take on Washington in their only game of the week.

  1. Cleveland Cavaliers 9-35 SAME

Cleveland ended its 12-game losing streak with a win over the Lakers on Sunday. The team previously had lost to Indiana, New Orleans and Houston last week. The Cavaliers play Portland, Utah and Denver on the road this week.
