Preview for Saturday’s lineup at Logan City Limits

The final show of Aggie Radio’s annual music and arts festival, Logan City Limits, will take place at the Taggart Student Center at 7 p.m. on Saturday. Here’s a closer look at which bands will be rocking the stage that night.

Taylor Ross Wilson

Wilson will be playing an acoustic set during the Saturday show. Originally from Ogden, Utah, Wilson now works at WhySound in Logan helping other local artists showcase their talent.

Shua Taylor

Taylor has lived in Logan for the last 12 years and has been a member of a band known as Panthermilk. Now Taylor will be bringing his folk, rock, and blues vibes to the acoustic stage. Taylor says that those who come to his set are sure to have a good time.

“They will probably laugh,” Taylor said. “If you want a good little giggle, come watch. Go have fun and support the music.”

The Gatherers

Local Logan band The Gatherers is comprised of five members, all of whom were music majors at Utah State at some point. They found a common love in rock music and began writing their own. This modern rock band is sure to bring it to the TSC on Saturday night and they hope fellow music lovers will join them for the show.

Carolee Beck, lead vocalist, said, “Being a part of concerts and live music is something else entirely. You get to be next to people who all love the same type of thing, and you can forget for a moment your worries and your troubles and enjoy what is happening in front of you.”

Motion Coaster

Motion Coaster is an eight-part band creating urban, funk, and R&B based music. Saturday will be Motion Coaster’s first time playing in Logan, Utah. Dee Kei Waddell, lead vocalist, said that they’ve prepared some new songs, old songs, covers, choreographed dancing, and crowd surfing for their show on Saturday.

“I think we are most excited to get a different group of people that may have never heard of us and introduce them to these new vibes and new sounds,” Waddell said. “If we are experts at anything, it is getting people to move, and I am excited to bring that energy to Logan as a band.”

The Strike

The Strike will be headlining the final night of the festival. The six-member band comes out of Provo, Utah. Their music is primarily a pop, funk and rock infusion. Take a listen to their song “Devils In The Canyon” to get ready to rock on Saturday.
