A third USU student tests positive for COVID-19
Utah State University now has three members of its campus community with confirmed positive results for COVID-19.
The third student is recovering out of state and has not been on campus since they developed symptoms, said USU spokeswoman Emilie Wheeler.
Wheeler added the reason the university is not releasing details of university members who test positive is to “encourage people to self report so we know the situation.”
The third student announcement comes after the university announced a student and employee tested positive Tuesday evening. The student lives off-campus and the employee is recovering at home, Wheeler said.
