Re-configured MW hoops schedule released
The Mountain West Conference released its updated conference schedule for basketball Tuesday morning with its unique format of two-game series between teams. Each team in the conference will play 10 of these two-game series, five to be played at home and five on the road with both games in that series played at the home or away site.
Utah State men’s five home opponents are San Jose State, San Diego State, Colorado State, Wyoming and Nevada. The five away series will be against Air Force, New Mexico, UNLV, Fresno State and Boise State.
The dates for these games have also been released, here is where and when Utah State will play each team in the Mountain West.

Based on the preseason Mountain West poll, the men should have an even split between playing the best teams in the conference on the road and at home. The Aggies get preseason No. 1 San Diego State at home but play No. 2 Boise State and No. 4 UNLV on the road. No. 5 Colorado State and No. 6 Nevada are both home series for USU.
The women’s basketball conference schedule will be the same, though home and away will be reversed, as is typical for the past couple years of Mountain West play.
