A night for Chamber groups to perform at USU
A variety of chamber ensembles will perform in what could be billed as the chamber ensemble play-off at Utah State University.
This will not be a battle of the bands but an evening where students from the music department are in the spotlight in a variety of performance groups.
The Chamber Ensemble concert will be March 28 at 7:30 p.m. in the Kent Concert Hall of the Chase Fine Arts Center on campus.
The concert is free and all are invited.
Music for the evening will range from the Baroque era to the 20th century, said faculty member and concert coordinator Todd Fallis.
Groups performing will include the flute, trombone, clarinet and tuba ensembles, as well as the Caine Woodwind Quintet and the Brass Quintet.
