Adventures begin at Heritage Center

TUESDAY June 3Daily Adventures begins at The American West Heritage Center with five sites open for hands-on, living history activities: a 1917 farm, pioneer settlement, Shoshone Indian encampment, Mountain Man encampment and Woodwright shop. They will present a children’s Victorian Tea Party at 2 p.m. (reservations required) and pony rides by demand. Craft time is at 3 pm at the Pioneer Settlement. Most activities are included with admission.

WEDNESDAY June 4Daily Adventures continues at The American West Heritage Center with five sites open for hands-on, living history activities: a 1917 farm, pioneer settlement, Shoshone Indian encampment, Mountain Man encampment and Woodwright shop.They will host a Pioneer Party at 2 p.m. Also: pony rides and living history activities for all ages. Craft time is at 3 pm at the Shoshone Indian encampment. Most activities are included with admission.

THURSDAY June 5Daily Adventures continues at The American West Heritage Center with five sites open for hands-on, living history activities: a 1917 farm, pioneer settlement, Shoshone Indian encampment, Mountain Man encampment and Woodwright shop.They will host a Tipi party at 2 pm with Native American games and activities. Pony rides and hands-on living history activities are offered for all ages. Craft time is at 3 pm at the 1917 Farm. Most activities are free with admission.

FRIDAY June 6Daily Adventures continues at The American West Heritage Center with five sites open for hands-on, living history activities: a 1917 farm, pioneer settlement, Shoshone Indian encampment, Mountain Man encampment and Woodwright shop. They will present Children’s Victorian Tea Party at 2 pm (reservations required) with high-class fun and activities. Pony rides take place all day. Most activities are included with admission.

SATURDAY June 7Daily Adventures continues at The American West Heritage Center with five sites open for hands-on, living history activities: a 1917 farm, pioneer settlement, Shoshone Indian encampment, Mountain Man encampment and Woodwright shop. June 7 is UTAH APPRECIATION DAY. Utah residents are admitted free for a sneak preview of the coming season. A Tipi Party will be presented at 2 pm with high-class fun and activities. Craft time is at 3 pm at the 1917 Farm. Pony rides take place all day.

SATURDAY June 7Big Horse Adventures begins at the American West Heritage Center featuring a wagon ride, Dutch oven feast, and entertainment provided by A Gal, Her Guitar, and Her Guy: David and Marianne Sidwell, known for their light-hearted music, storytelling and fun personalities. Reservations are required, and the wagon leaves at 6:30 pm. Discounts are available for groups over 20 in number.
