Ag softball beats Idaho State

Utah State softball picked up an exciting come-from-behind 5-3 win against Idaho State at a snowy and windy LaRee and LeGrand Johnson Field here Thursday afternoon. Game two was canceled as the field conditions worsened from the inclement weather in the first game. Utah State improves to 12-27 on the year while Idaho State falls to 7-25 overall. The Aggies tallied their sixth straight win against the Bengals and their second this season, as USU is now 21-6 in the all-time series with ISU. Idaho State tallied its three runs in the top of the first, as junior pitcher Lindsey Benson scattered five hits through the next six innings and struck out eight. as she improved to 11-19 on the year. ISU P Andrea Coburn struck out two in six innings and falls to 0-10.
