Aggie Ice Cream winner of KSL 2016 “Best Local Ice Cream Shop” poll
It’s finally official. The title we already accepted as fact has been solidified: Aggie Ice Cream has been named Utah’s Best Local Ice Cream Shop.
Almost 19,000 people voted for their favorite of sixteen different parlors in a poll hosted by KSL. “We’re not surprised, but we’re happy,” said Dave Irish, creamery manager, in an interview with KSL upon learning the good news.
For the past 100 years, the ice cream parlor has been building its reputation and rapport, leaving Aggie Ice Cream fans all over the state very happy with the victory, while not being very surprised.

Aggie Ice Cream took 33 percent of the votes to beat out BYU Creamery at 22 percent and Leatherby’s at 15 percent. It seems there is no room for questioning, Aggies know how to please the taste buds. What’s your favorite of the 26 flavors? Let us know below.
