Aggies beat San Jose State

The Utah State women’s soccer team returned home on Friday afternoon to take on San Jose State and won 1-0.

The first half was scoreless. Both teams created opportunities but couldn’t capitalize. USU senior goalkeeper Ashlyn Mulford had a good first half in goal.

Junior Jennifer Flynn opened up the scoring for the Aggies in the 56th minute. Sophomore Lauren Roundy had the assist.

The Aggies improved to 10-2-6 on the season and 5-0-2 in WAC play.

USU will take on Louisiana Tech on October 28.
