Kristen Taylor, a junior majoring in business education, is running unopposed for the position of business senator.

“As business senator I will devote my time and energy to the continued success of the College of Business. I have the experience, passion and drive to lead the College of Business to new heights and greater successes,” she said.

Taylor said she has served in different capacities on the Business Council for the past two years and has watched previous senators.

“I feel that it is now my opportunity to step up and represent the College of Business students,” she said.

Taylor said she wants to hold monthly business council meetings where all students are invited to attend and actively participate.

“I also hope to be highly-visible and approachable within the Business Building, so that all business students feel comfortable talking with me and voicing their concerns,” she said.

“My goals include implementing student peers in the COB Advising Center; bettering faculty/student relations through departmental liaisons, improving recognition and publicity of COB achievements, and publicizing clubs’ and organizations’ events and accomplishments,” she said.
