USU offers free biotech symposium for teachers.  November 10 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Deadline for registration is Oct. 28th.  Participants may either register online at www.biosystems.usu.edu/education/high_school/symposium/ or by calling USU’s Center for Integrated BioSystems.

Stokes Nature Center invites all ages on an Autumn Hike from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday 25th.  Meet at First Dam in Logan Canyon for an interpretive hike along the Bonneville Shoreline.  Space is limited, pre-registration is required.  For more info. call, 755-3239

Donations needed for IWA Service Week In preparation for their Service Week on October 28-30, the IWA has set boxes up around the institute to collect donations.  They need toys, books, and winter clothing for all ages.
