He will be speaking this Friday at 11:30 in the Institute Cultural Hall. Join the School of Teacher Education and Leadership in our first monthly film series. Tonight Friday, Sept. 12 at 6 p.m. in the Emma Eccles Jones Education Building Auditorium, Room 131. This film is a documentary about Mexican migrant workers who became very successful in education. It’s called Labores de la Vida. Everyone invited to attend. There is no charge.
All are invited to participate in a Peace Vigil every Friday between 5 and 6 p.m. on the east side of Main Street between Center Street and 100 N, Logan. Join Common Ground Outdoor Adventures by volunteering your time. This program provides adaptive outdoor recreation and adventure to people with disabilities in Cache Valley. Jazzercise Joins the New Fitness Passport. It includes: Jazzercise, yoga, Pilates, turbo, Piyo, TurboKick, spinning, water aerobics and boot camp classes. Your passport allows you into ANY CLASS, ANY TIME, ANY DAY. Fitness Passports are available for purchase at the HPER, pool cage or the Fieldhouse. USU Students and spouses pay $20, USU employees and spouses pay $79, and community members pay $99.
AVA members showcase their artistic ability. There will be a wide variety of works something for everyone at this show. August 22 to September 20 the AVA Gallery which is located at 35 West 100 South, in Logan.
