Bank robbery suspected arrested in Vegas

Logan City Police Dept.

Friday evening at approximately 7 p.m., Logan City police detectives learned that Joseph Manuel Reyes and another male individual were traveling to Las Vegas, Nev. Information at that time suggested they were possibly still in Utah. Reyes is wanted for aggravated robbery and theft from the Logan Wells Fargo Bank at 5 S. Main St. that occurred on Feb. 4.

Saturday at 5 a.m., Logan police detectives learned that Reyes was in the Las Vegas area. The Logan City Investigation Division provided arrest warrant information and other details to the Las Vegas Metro Police Department. Acting on that information, the Las Vegas Criminal Apprehension Team arrested Reyes.

The other man accompanying Reyes was not arrested, although he remains a person of interest in the investigation.

The Logan City Police Department will promptly pursue the extradition of Reyes back to Utah for subsequent prosecution efforts.
