Aug. 30, 2002 Police responded to a traffic accident involving a vehicle that had pulled up onto a broken post and became high-centered.

Aug. 31, 2002 Police received a report of the theft of a cell phone during the USU vs. Utah football game. The phone was later found by the individual.

Police responded to an intrusion alarm at the University Reserve building. The alarm was caused by a computer laboratory consultant who accidentally entered the incorrect alarm code upon entering. The alarm was successfully reset.

USU Police responded to 1800 East, US Highway 89 to assist Logan City Police and the Utah Highway Patrol in stopping two vehicles wanted in a road rage incident. Two individuals were arrested on drug charges.

Police responded to the West Stadium parking lot on a report of an individual selling tickets to the football game. The individual was located and informed that he would not be allowed to continue selling the tickets.

Sept. 1, 2002 USU Police assisted Logan City Police in searching for a burglary suspect who assaulted an officer and evaded arrest. The suspect’s car was found abandoned a short while later. The suspect was arrested when his mother called police and stated he was at her house.

Sept. 2, 2002 Police responded to Greaves Hall on a first alarm. The alarm was set off by smoke from cooking food. The alarm was reset and the smoke cleared. No further action was taken by police.

Sept. 4, 2002 Police responded to the HPER building to assist a person who could not get out of the elevator. Police were able to open the doors and let the individual out. Facilities personnel will fix the elevator.

Police responded to a fire alarm at Greaves Hall. The alarm was cause by smoke from a burned cheese sandwich. The alarm was reset without further incident.

A resident of the USU Trailer Court reported the theft of an exercising dumbbell from her trailer. Police are investigating the incident. Police responded to Aggie Village on a report of two males smoking and behaving oddly. The subjects had left the area before police arrived.

Police received a delayed report of a disorderly individual who caused problems at the football game on Saturday night in the area where the USU Band was sitting. Police are investigating the event.
