BLOTTER: Police news from the Campus and Community

Nov. 15, 2002

Police responded to Mountain View Tower on a report of alcohol. An individual was cited for being a minor in possession of alcohol.

Police responded to a broken tree grate near the Biology and Natural Resources Building. The hazard was marked with a cone.

Nov. 16, 2002

Police responded to a report of a suspicious person in the Trailer Court. A male individual was walking toward the Student Living Center. He was wearing dark clothing and carrying a flashlight. The individual could not be

located. No further action was taken.

Police responded to the sound of a crying child in Aggie Village. Upon further investigation, the child was found to be fine.

Nov. 18, 2002

Police found a shopping cart belonging to Lee’s Marketplace in the lot next to the East Campus office building. The cart was delivered to its owner.

Police were notified of an animal problem at The Junction. Police located several stray cats but were unable to capture them. Housing will be notified of the problem.

Police responded to a report of a student who had been bitten by a dog that was tied up outside the Science and Technology Library. The student received first aid from police and was taken to the hospital for further checkup.

Nov. 20, 2002

Police responded to Rich Hall on a harassment complaint.

Nov. 21, 2002

Police responded to Valley View Tower on a report of sheep in the building. Three sheep were located in the building and were escorted out of the building and back to their pens.

A woman reported a traffic accident that occurred over a week ago. The drivers had already exchanged information, notified their insurance companies and settled the claim. No further action was taken.

An individual living in student housing reported a disagreement with a roommate. Both individuals came to an agreement.
