Jan. 31, 2003

It was reported to Logan Police that someone was walking about pounding on windows.

The Deseret Industries reported to Logan Police that a bag had been donated with what appeared to be drug paraphernalia in it.

Two unidentified construction employees entered Valley View Tower to use the soda machine.

USU Police are investigating the theft of a bike from the HPER bike rack.

USU Police are investigating a continuing noise problem in the Trailer Park.

Feb. 1, 2003

A caller reported to Logan Police that he was on his bicycle when he was cut off by a motorist. There was a little dispute between the two and then he left. After he left the scene the driver started following him and trying to cause him injury.

USU Police reported to Logan Police that someone came in to report a rape.

An individual reported to Logan Police that a bunch of males jumping out in front of cars with a cardboard cutout of a person.

USU Police responded to a report of a vehicle towing an individual on a skateboard on Cemetery Road. They had left the area prior to police arrival.

Feb. 3, 2003

The USU Police Department’s Bomb Squad was called to assist the Box Elder Sheriff’s Office with some old explosives found at a mine. The explosives were destroyed at the scene.

Police received a complaint from someone living out of state who has been receiving harassing phone calls from a caller on USU’s campus. Police are investigating.

Police responded to the men’s restroom in the basement of the Biology Building on a complaint of writing on a bathroom stall door. Police are

investigating.

Feb. 4, 2003

Police responded to a report of two suspicious females in Morgan Hall. It was later discovered that the two females were juvenile runaways. The girls were released to their guardians and banned from campus.

Feb. 5, 2003

A caller reported a dead cat in the gutter to Logan Police.

Police responded to the HPER Building about an argument between two intramural teams. The subject involved had left the building before police arrived.
