BREAKING NEWS: Water main floods north end of campus
Residents of Utah State University’s Aggie Village apartments woke up at 3 a.m. Tuesday morning to find their parking lots flooded and cars swamped after a water main on 1000 North burst, releasing tens of thousands of gallons of water into the lots.
Campus police woke the residents to have them move their cars to the streets and dryer parking lots, while a few cars had to be towed to higher ground by Miller Towing who donated their time and services. City crews worked until Tuesday afternoon fixing the broken water main. See Wednesday December 4 Statesman for the complete story. –Zak Larsen
