March 5-Career Fair, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The parking terrace will be closed until 9 a.m.-USU Theatre “The Taming of the Shrew” March 3 through 8, 7:30 p.m., Caine Lyric in downtown. Tickets $6 to $9, USU students free with valid ID and ticket.

March 6-USU basketball VS Cal State Northridge, 6:35 p.m. Smith Spectrum- USU Music Dept. Guitar Concert with guests Joe Diorio and Sid Jacobs. 7:30 p.m., Morgan Theatre, FAC. Admission: Adults $5, all students free with ID.

March 7- Native American Council presents the “30th Annual Echoing Traditional Ways Pow-wow.” March 7 and 8. Admission is $2 per person, $1 for Children, Senior Citizens, and Students w/ID. Come celebrate with food, friends, and fun.

*Cache Valley Historical Society “The History of Latinos in Utah.” exhibit and talk Elite Hall Hyrum. Yvonne Ahumada, Bilingual Director of Human Pursuits of the Western Humanities Concern at the University of Utah. will discuss the culture and literature of Latinos. The talk March 5, 7 p.m.. The exhibit consists of 52, 30 x 30 inch framed photographs with captions in both English and Spanish.

* Auditions for “The Celebrate America Show” March 20, 6 to 9 p.m. and March 22 8 a.m. to Noon at the Greenville School in North Logan. We need singers and dancers — male and female. Plus characters who can portray Bob Hope, George Burns and Gracie Allen. The Celebrate America Show is a musical celebration of the American Spirit held in the USU Ballroom in September. The event includes a grand buffet dinner, dancing with a 17 piece big band orchestra, and a Broadway-style show (with a special tribute to veterans).
