-Science week telescopes on the Quad begins 7 p.m. (dusk). Solar ball (glow in the dark volleyball).

– Stepping Across Boundaries, USU Step show. 7:30 p.m. TSC Ballroom. $3 general public, $2 Greeks/letters.

– USU Ballroom Dance Spring Concert March 26 and 27, 7:00 p.m., Ellen Eccles Theatre. Show includes Latin, and Ballroom dancing as well as several Cabarets. Cost is $5.50/students and children, $7.50/ non-student adults.

-USU Women’s Tennis VS Northern Arizona, 10 a.m. at the Sports Academy

– Family Life Center Financial Checkup workshop, 10 a.m. -12 p.m. at the Family Life Center 493 N. 700 E. Reservations 797-7224

-Muslim World Festival, 2 – 5 p.m. Ethnic food, Arabic calligraphy, traditional games and dancing, displays.

* Married Student Association Spring Workshop – March 27. Dinner 5-5:45, workshops start at 6 p.m., Institute. Workshops are family finance, communication in marriage, family and personal scripture study. Ice cream at 7:45 p.m.

*LDSSA Young Single Adult Fireside – March 28, 7 p.m. David L. Christensen will speak at the Logan Tabernacle. Ages 18-30 invited.

* Muslim World Festival, March 30 film The Message, TSC Center Colony room, 7 p.m. Mach 31, Religion panel “The Descendant of Abraham” 12:30 – 1:30 p.m., TSC Auditorium. Representatives from Christianity, Islam, and Judaism.

* Utsav, Consortium for Indian Culture, March 30, 6:30 p.m. Kent Concert hall. A Multicultural show with dance, music, yoga, and more. Proceeds benefit children in Logan and India.

* Religion In Life March 30, 12:30 p.m. Institute Cultural Center. Richard O. Cowan, professor for 43 years at BYU and author of 7 books.

* Homeless for a Night on the TSC patio and the Quad. March 31 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. –live bands, free pizza, and Mayor Thompson7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. — Sleep out on Quad. Bands, food, survivor games, etc. Please bring donations — cans of food, clothes, blankets, etc.

* Looking for a scholarship? The Lyon, Maas, Mueggler Outdoor Leadership Scholarship needs applicants! Application deadline April 2.

* A Practical Pistol match open to the public March  27, 9:00 a.m. Cache Valley Hunter Education Center three miles west of Logan onHighway 30. Sponsored by CAPS, the match will be free to first-time participants. Otherwise, the entrance fee is $12 for CAPS members and $17 for non-members.

* Clara Barton #16 of the Order of the Eastern Star Soup & Stuff fundraising luncheon March 28, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., Logan Masonic Lodge (118 W 100 N). Cost is $5 per person and $3 for children 12 and under. Funds raised are used to support CAPSA, the Scottish Rite Learning Centers (assists families of children with language or learning disabilities), and other charities. Info., call Terrie at 258-3777.

* The Cache Valley Folk Dancers and the Bridger Folk Music Society New England Style Contra Dance April 3. The dance 7:30 p.m., Whittier Community Center, 290 N. 400 E. Calling by David Cottle and other local talented callers. They will teach each dance and beginners and families are welcome. Live music will be provided by the local band, Leaping Lulu. A $5 donation is requested at the door.
