• Native American week, November 10, Cookout TSC pation, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. November 11, group drum performance, International lounge

• Blood Drive, Nov. 10-11, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Institute Cultural Hall.

• African Student Association cultural event, Nov. 11, 4 p.m. Sunburst lounge. Presentation of different African countries’ culture, dance and more. refreshments served. Free.

• STC Workshop on Adobe Illustrator, the society for Technical Communication, Nov. 12, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Ray B. West room 101.

• Bridger Folk Music Society “2nd Thursday” acoustic music jam session Nov. 10. The session will be held in the pink room of the Whittier Community Center, 290 N. 400 E., beginning at 7 pm. Musicians of all skill levels and musical interests are invited to attend. Celtic, bluegrass, old-timey, traditional, cowboy, singer-songwriter. No cost.

• Women’s healthy forum, Nov. 14, 7 p.m. TSC 221 West Colony room, Linda Roberts will address an overview of women’s health including nutritional heatlh, reproductive health, birth-contol, what to expect during physical exam and answers to questions from the audience.

• Applications are available for membership in the USU chapter of PINNACLE, the national reentry honor society. Students should be 26 years of age or older, a junior or senior, have had a 5-year or more gap at some point in their education, have a minimum 3.0 overall USU GPA, be involved in campus and/or community activities. A one-time national membership fee of $20 is required. Contact the Reentry Student Center, TSC, Room 315, 797-1728. Deadline December 7, 2005.

• Cache Humane Society Kibble Crunch Brunch, Nov. 12, Le Nonne Restaurant. $75/person. All proceeds will benefit the Cache Humane Society animal shelter.

• SCORE workshop “How to set up and operate a small business”, Nov. 15 and 16, 6:00 p.m. – 9 p.m. Chamber of Commerce, 160 North Main.
