* USU Homecoming 5k race, Oct. 11, 9:30 a.m. 100 South Main downtown Logan. $7 registration fee

* USU Aggie fest, Oct. 11, 3-6 p.m. Free games, food, fact painting and more.

* Aggie stampede Oct. 11, 3:45 p.m., meet in the FAC parking lot. Charge the football field to show support.

* USU homecoming party after the football game, Oct. 11, 10 p.m. – 1 a.m. TSC, Free.

* Folk and Bluegrass Club features Matt Cline (Singer/Songwriter) playing at the TSC patio from Oct. 10, 12:00 to 1:00 PM.

* Reminder that fall U.R.C.O. grant proposals must be submitted to V.P. Research Office before 12:00 noon on Oct. 10.

* Logan Jazz Stampede Oct. 11, Live jazz and free Aggie ice cream on the sidewalk, noon, Emporium/Coppermill Bldg. Free performances will continue through the afternoon in downtown Logan. Featured jazz artists and combos include The Lightwood Duo 3:00 p.m. Caffe Ibis, The Rock Bottom Blues Revue 3:30 p.m. on the sidewalk in front of the Caine Lyric Theater, William Pollett 4:00 p.m. Chapter Two Books, The Jackson Evans Quartet 4:00 p.m. The White Owl, The Valley Dance Ensemble (African Dance) 5:00 p.m. on the sidewalk in front of the Ellen Eccles Theater. Evening performance in the Caine Lyric Theater 7:00 p.m. Jazz concert with special guests Nivison, Taylor and Wright followed by The Joe McQueen All-Stars featuring Larry Smith. Tickets $10 at the door, at Chapter Two Books and at the USU ticket office.

* Howl tickets now on sale for USU students in the USU Ticket Office, Student I.D. is required for all ticket purchases; there is a limit of 2 tickets per I.D. USU Students Pre-sale – $10. Bring in two canned-food items and receive a $2 discount (for USU Students only, and only during pre-sale).
