•LDSSA Carnival on the Quad, Sept. 27, 5-8 p.m. A night out on the quad including: climbing wall, mechanical bull, sumo wrestling, a quilting-booth to benefit humanitarian aide in Haiti, blow-up toys, cake walks, free food, music, and much more!

•”Spread the Word” Book Drive Sept. 23 through 28 At local grocery stores (i.e. Smith’s, Macey’s, Albertson’s and Lee’s) and in the 1st floor of the TSC by the Hub. In honor of four-year-old Juliana McCourt, who died Sept. 11, 2001 on Flight 175. Proceeds will be distributed to organizations around Cache Valley.

•”Cooking for Less” classes at USU Extension office every Tuesday from 9 to 10 a.m. Last day of instruction is Oct. 8.

•Musical talents, dancers, and performers needed for Diversity Carnival on Nov. 1. Forms TSC, Rm. 326. Deadline Sept. 30.

•Utah Conservation Corps workshops on creating native landscapes in your own backyard. Sept. 21, 4 to 6 p.m. Denzil Stewart Nature Park (1st South and 7th East) and will be followed by live music from 6 -to 7 p.m.. The first workshop in the series is: Bringing Butterflies to your Backyard, Bring your gardening tools.
