EVENTS:

•USU Ecology Center welcomes Dr. Jon Swenson, scientist from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences. Two lectures present The first is titled: “Growth and reproduction in brown bears: a life history perspective” Dec. 7, 6:00 p.m.NR Bldg, room 105. The second lecture, entitled “Harvesting bears: do we understand what we are doing?”, Dec. 8, 3:00 PM, NR building, room 105. All are welcome to attend. Information www.usu.edu/ecology

•Aggie Blue bikes fundraiser, “True Fans”, a basketball Odyssey, movie with Pilgrim Dan Austin. Dec. 6, 7 p.m. Edith Bowen Auditorium. Tickets at the door. $3 if you ride a bike or $5 other.

•Christmas trees for sale on the Natural Resources Patio. $20 for a 6-7 foot tree. Come support the forestry club and buy a tree for the holidays.

• Flu shots available at the Student Health Center, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., $20.

• USU ORC Yurt reservations, for information call 797-3264 or www.usu/orc/yurt. Payment is due at the time the reservation is made. Bring your USU ID.

• SOSNR, Lazer Precision and USU Community Credit Union sponsoring a fundraiser. Recycle used print and ink-jet cartridges in black bins.
