•Students may qualify for a refund of up to $4,400 through the Federal Earned Income Credit. Plus a volunteer organization can do their taxes for them for free. Call “2-1-1” and ask about Earned Income Credit and Volunteer Income Tax Assistance.

•Save the Multicultural Center! Come to the Family Fun Night at the Cache Valley Fun Park. Monday January 30, 6-10 p.m. $5 will get you a drink, pizza and 2 activities.

•United Students against sweatshops meets Wednesday, February 1 at 5 p.m. in the Quad Side Cafe (library). Educate, Agitate, Organize!

•Asian-American Week. Join us Friday at the TipToe Into Asia Banquet, 7 p.m. at the TSC Ballroom. Tickets are available in the ticket office.

• Utah State University Women’s Center Advisory Board is seeking nominations for the “Women Over 65 Achievement Awards.” Women eligible for recognition must reside in Cache Valley, be 65 years of age or older, and have made outstanding contributions to the advancement and equality of life for women on a local, state, or national level. • Applications are available for Pinnacle, national reentry honor society. The deadline is Jan. 31. Students should be 26 years of age or older, a junior or senior, have had a 5-year or more gap at some point in their education, have minimum 3.0 overall USU GPA, be involved in campus and/or community activities. a one-time national membership fee of $20 is required.
