Campus Activies (F.Y.I.) for Feb. 5, 2007

• Kick off Recycle -Mania 2007 with an awesome concert! Wednesday, February 7, 8 p.m. TSC Auditorium. $3 or $2 with a bag of recyclables.

• Etiquette Dinner Hamiltons! It will be on Wednesday February 7, 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $12 and can be purchased in the Business building COB 202. (Dean’s office).

• Students, faculty, and staff: Please join our Mindfulness Meditation Group. This 8-week program will begin Tuesday, February 5, 11:30 am. Participants will receive instruction in mindfulness meditation, body awareness, and gentle movement. Exercises for daily practice will be provided. For information on participating in this program, please call the Counseling Center at 797-1012.

• Guitars Unplugged presented by Mortar Board Feb 6, 7 p.m. TSC Ballroom. $4 general admission $3 student admission. Come get you Mortar Board application or pick one up from TSC 326.

• Future events include the Black Student Unions Annual Soul food dinner, February 9, The Polynesian Student Unions annual Luau, February 24, and the Native American Student Councils annual POW WOW March 2 and 3.

• Wednesday, Feb. 7, 7 p.m. Institute Culteral Hall. Institute Mens Association Winter Dues Banquet catered by Costa Vida – Single men 18-30 are invited to join IMA and join us for dinner! Bring a date! Shirt and tie please. Dues are only $6 a semester. The evening also features an excellent speaker, Scot Allgood. Please RSVP by picking up no cost ticket from the Institute secretary in the front office. This will help us plan an accurate number of meals.

• CCR&R is offering student parent support class that explores the development of math skills to help stimulate the development of your child. Free childcare is available.
