• Utah State University’s Percussion Ensemble and the Caine Percussion Ensemble, under the direction of Dennis Griffin, Monday, April 2, 7:30 p.m. Kent Concert Hall. Students are admitted free with an activity card.
• Undergraduate research day, April 3 – student showcase, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. TSC International Lounge. • USU’s annual celebration of research, features 70 students with posters and oral presentations, Tuesday, April 3, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. TSC International/Sunburst Lounges. Awards to Outstanding Undergraduate Researchers and Mentors at noon.
• The choirs of Utah State University join forces with Beatles cover band “Get Back” to present Choir Rocks, an evening of rock and roll favorites by the Beatles, Journey, and Led Zeppelin, on Tuesday, April 3, 7:30 p.m. Kent Concert Hall. • G5 3 on 3 Micro Loan Fundraiser Basketball Tournament. Saturday April, 7. Check in 9:30 a.m., games begin at 10 a.m. all proceeds go to Micro Loans in Peru, Chile and Brazil. • April 16-20 the Student Alumni Association will be hosting the annual A-Day week. Events include: Monday, movie night; Tuesday, comedy night; Thursday, Battle of the Bands; and Friday, Day-on- the-Quad. All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society. More info to come.
• All are invited to participate in a Peace Vigil every Friday from 5-6 p.m. on the east side of Main Street between Center Street and 100 N, Logan. • Spring is a great time to learn how to save a life. The Cache County American Red Cross will be holding a CPR/First Aid class on March 31, 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. 1115 N 200 E Ste.140. Those interested should contact the Red Cross @ 752-1125 on or before March 28th. Cost for books and cartification is $45 and can be paid in person or over the phone.
• Go climb a rock or do the next best thing- come adaptive indoor climbing with Common Ground Outdoor Adventure. Common Ground provides outdoor recreation for people with disabilities. Meet at Common Ground (335 N 100 E) 2 p.m. Friday, March 30. The cost is $6.00. Come help Common Ground Outdoor Adventures dust off and test ride our adaptive cycles.
