• Jump-a-thon. Saturday, November 18, 1-5 p.m. Logan Recreation Center (195 South 100 West). Come support Sub for Santa and win some prizes by jumping in the first ever Jump-a-Thon. All you need is: $5 for entry fee, jump rope. For more information, contact Richard at jumpathon@yahoo.com.
• Movie: “Iraq for Sale: The War Profiteers.” 7 p.m. TSC Auditorium. Friday, November 17.
• Dance, TSC International Lounge. November 17, 9 p.m. – midnight. Free.
• Fund raiser night at “Citrus & Sage” (130 North 100 East). Indian food, henna and Indian culture clothes on sale. Friday and Saturday, November 17-18, 7-10 p.m.

• Student and community members can donate new mittens, hats, scarves and socks for the 17th annual Mitten Tree. Items will be donated to the Bear River Head Start program and Child and FAmily Support Center. Items accepted November 13 – December 6, Women’s Center TSC 315 and the Marketplace. • Friday Night Activity November 17. Susan Brown Concert. Institute Cultural Hall, 8 – 10 p.m. Susan Brown (fiddler for Trisha Yearwood) from Nashville and Cam Lee, local performer, to open the concert. Bring a can of food to donate. Free admission, doors open at 7:30 p.m.
• Tellabration! 7:30-9 p.m. American West Heritage Center. $3 child/$5 adult. Tellabration! is a world-wide storytelling event. It is produced locally in communities all over the world on this same night.
• Star Gazing Party American West Heritage Center, 9 p.m. Join us on this chilly evening for the annual Leonid meteor shower, one of the most spectacular celestial events of the year! The Leonids traditionally put on the greatest show off earth as far as meteor showers go. We’ll have good telescopes, knowledgeable experts, plenty of places to get warm, and plenty of hot cocoa to go around–but remember to dress warm!

• Special Needs Dance Friday November 17. The Dance is at 7:30 and goes until 11:00. There will be dancing and refreshments. We just need to be there to dance with all of the people. Special Needs Dance, Stake Center Behind Sam’s Club.
