Fibromyalgia workshop scheduled

Utah State University is offering a four-session research workshop designed to examine the effects of emotions and communication on fibromyalgia. Participants will learn to improve their communication skills with families and healthcare providers, enhance their coping abilities for dealing with the difficult emotions and physical issues that occur with the illness and receive support from other individuals who are experiencing similar concerns.

A drawing for cash prizes will be held at the end of the study for individuals who complete all four sessions.

For more information or to register for this research, call Alexandra at 797-8101 or e-mail at astillman@cc.usu.edu by Feb. 23.
