Several local organizations have coordinated their efforts to make this event as broad as possible. It will allow Logan Regional Hospital and Cache Valley Specialty Hospital to use this disaster drill to train their response teams to handle large-scale crises.

Logan City Assistant Fire Chief Jeff Peterson said the exercise has been designed to test important interfaces between the various local emergency response teams which include first responders, fire and rescue teams, police, radio communications, mass transportation, hospitals, and the Red Cross.
