Red Bull presents bike competition

At this year’s Red Bull Rampage, an invitational-only men’s mountain bike freeride competition, students will have the opportunity to compete in the Rampage “In Focus” photo challenge, where the winner will have his or her photographs published in Launch magazine.

The best freeride mountain bikers in the world will gather to challenge the steep lines and cliff bands of Virgin, Utah, for a piece of the $10,000 cash purse. To get started, interested students should submit four to six digital photos of action and/or landscape photography that best represents their work to infocus@redbullrampage.com by September 30.

Students should also be sure to also include “Rampage in Focus” in the subject line of the e-mail, name and contact info including mailing address and phone number, the name of the university currently attended, a brief description of any interests outside of photography and any questions about Red Bull Rampage. Please keep the total attachment under 10 MB.

The competition will take place at Virgin, Utah, on the Kolob Reservoir Road near the red hills, just outside of Zion National Park on Oct. 17 to 19. For additional event information, check out www.redbullrampage.com.
