Interlibrary loan changes made New improvements have been made to the Interlibrary Loan Services Office in Merrill Library at Utah State University. Beginning Friday, Interlibrary Loan request forms will require each borrower to set up a free WebZap account by following the steps on the request form Web page. WebZap will save you time by storing a user’s personal information on a secure server. Also, beginning Monday, Feb. 25, most journal articles a borrower requests through Interlibrary Loan will be delivered to the borrower electronically in PDF format. Once an article has arrived, the borrower will be contacted by e-mail with the Web address and a pin number for access. The article will be available for two weeks or 10 views, whichever comes first. The borrower may also print out the article if so desired. Students and borrowers are also reminded hard copy materials borrowed via Interlibrary Loan are now checked out at and returned to the Merrill Library Circulation Desk. As a result, Interlibrary Loan pick-up is now available all hours the library is open. For more information contact Carol Kochan, head of Interlibrary Services, at carkoc@ngw.lib.usu.edu.
