COLUMN: The CFR is working behind the scenes to destroy the U.S.

During this election year, we are reminded of the constant emphasis the media place on politicians and the policies they would carry out once in office. What the media neglect to mention is the fact that there are various organizations that work behind the scenes to direct the policies of our government. One of the most powerful organizations influencing the policies of the government is the Council on Foreign Relations, or CFR.

The CFR was officially organized in 1921. Its founders had been influential in the drafting of the Treaty of Versailles, which ended World War I. The council was founded largely due to the disappointment of these individuals at the unwillingness of the U.S. to enter the League of Nations, which they were very influential in creating.

One of the main architects of the CFR was “Colonel” Edward Mandell House, who was a very close adviser to President Woodrow Wilson. Wilson often referred to House as his “alter ego” and his “second personality.” House also was responsible for the first draft of the covenant of the League of Nations.

Alger Hiss, the infamous Soviet spy working in the State Department, was also an influential member of the CFR in its early years.

From the beginning, the CFR was very well-funded. It was strongly backed by many influential bankers and businessmen. Among its strongest supporters were the Carnegie and Rockefeller families.

The CFR worked hard to lay the groundwork for a new organization, the United Nations. Much work was done to influence America and prepare for the creation of this body.

When the UN was founded in San Francisco, many of the U.S. delegates also happened to be members of the CFR.

Members of the CFR have had powerful roles in the administrations of presidents from both parties, from Franklin Delano Roosevelt to the present. Among these are names that are familiar to us today, including Colin Powell, Condoleezza Rice and Dick Cheney. Many presidents have also been members of this organization, including Eisenhower, Carter, Kennedy, Nixon, Ford and Clinton.

Since the creation of the UN, the CFR and its members have been involved in many projects. Among these are the surrender of the Panama Canal in the ’70s and the recent creation of the Department of Homeland Security. Currently, the CFR is preparing the foundation for a new North American Community.

From its beginning, the CFR has been actively engaged in destroying the sovereignty of the U.S. This is to prepare for an eventual world government. Americans need to be aware of the threat to our freedom posed by this group. Its plans must be stopped before it succeeds in destroying our country.
