COLUMN: U.S. must steer clear of United Nations
Let’s just take a real look at the United Nations versus the United States for a moment. The United Nations first and foremost does not subscribe in any way shape or form to the Constitution of the United States of America. Furthermore, let’s just remember that the Constitution was and is an inspired document by God.
Do you honestly believe that the United Nations recognizes deity or Judo-Christian beliefs? The answer is, most defiantly no. Our so-called friends over at the United Nations are more into the practice and promotion of “Natural Earth Worship” with the “Ark of Hope.” The founding fathers of our country were wise, humble and inspired. They wanted America to be a God-fearing nation. This is the only reason why we still exist and enjoy power and prosperity as a country today.
If I could sum up the United Nations in the smallest way I know possible, I would say this: The United Nations seeks our wealth to distribute worldwide, our military power and resources, our private property and land, the education of our children, the taking away of our individual and collective right to keep and bear arms, the complete legalization of abortion (murder), the making of our laws, the redefinition of marriage, the degradation of the family, the secularization of all and elimination of deity or religion, the elimination of personal wealth, the elimination of private transportation, the introduction of socialism and the ultimate downfall of liberty and freedom itself. Most of the above facts I have laid out before you can be found in the U.N. charter.
Do the facts listed above sound like the principles we should allow our public educators to teach our children? Instead of a model U.N. program in our public schools, why don’t we have a model U.S. program? This would help students respect and learn about their own country for a change. Today’s public education, both K-12 and college seem to be a vehicle for teaching our children to go against their traditions and deity while perpetuating a far left, liberal agenda. This agenda is destroying America. The question still remains, what will you do about it?
President George W. Bush will not allow the United Nations to deceive us. If John Kerry were to win this fall, it would be a catastrophic disaster for our country. I fully believe that this upcoming election will be a defining point in history for America’s future.
John Kerry has stated in the past that any United States military deployment should be conducted under the discretion and permission of the United Nations. Looking at it in a broad sense, Kerry has basically told us that if he were president, he would discharge his obligation as commander in chief over to the United Nations. In other words, if we were attacked again by thugs, Kerry would seek a “permission slip” from the United Nations before he would act to defend our nation.
If I’m not mistaken, the oath for the office of president is repeated as follows, “I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the office of president of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States, so help me God.”
It can truly be said that the United States has enemies both foreign and domestic. Our foreign enemies are the terrorists. Our domestic enemy seems more and more every day to be one of our two major political parties. When it comes to Democrats and their appeasement of the United Nations, America is being taken down from within.
