Cougars slip one past Aggies
The Utah State women’s soccer team continued their home stand against top 25 teams, with a visit from No. 12 BYU Thursday. Despite a strong showing from the Aggies, the Cougars emerged with a 1-0 win.
The Cougars scored in the 10th minute of the first half with a Dana Cusick-scored goal from 30 yards.
The half ended with BYU up 1-0.
The teams traded possession and shots throughout the second half, but USU was unable to find the equalizer.
USU will play Wyoming at home on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m.
