Donation set up for injured Aggie spiker
Family and friends have set up a Gregory S. Jorgenson Donation at Zions Bank to help pay for the USU club volleyball coach’s medical expenses after he sustained serious injuries in an automobile accident while driving to the national tournament last week.
USU student Kim Nielson, a close friend of Jorgenson’s, said Jorgenson is still in a coma and his condition is still listed as critical, but doctors are optimistic his condition will improve shortly. Monday he opened his eyes for the first time since the accident, Nielson said.
Those wishing to donate may go directly to Zions Bank or may contribute at a table to be set up in the Taggart Student Center first floor this week, Nielson said.
