English Language

I went to USU and had to deal with the fact that a lot of my teachers (mostly math) spoke English as a second language. Math is hard enough with out the added challenge of not being able to understand what the teacher is saying. I found a way around this. Before I signed up for a class I would go to the department and get the names of the teachers teaching the classes I needed to take. Yes if I went to their country to school I would have to be able to understand there language and that should be the same here. I don’t think it’s that they don’t speak English, it’s the accent they have. Most of the teachers I had would take the time if I needed it to be able to understand them. You are paying big money and the cost is going up each year so take an active part in you education and do some research before you pay the money for the class.
