Fans Invited To Show Aggie Pride at Cache County Fair

Student-Athletes, Coaches, And Big Blue To Meet Fans Plus Much More August 11 – 13

 Utah State Athletics fans of all ages will have a chance to mingle with some of their favorite Aggie student-athletes and coaches at this week’s 2011 Cache County Fair and Rodeo.

The fair will run from Thursday, Aug. 11 through Saturday, Aug. 13 at the Cache County Fairgrounds.  Visitors of the Utah State Athletics booth will have the opportunity to receive autographs from various Utah State coaches and student-athletes, meet Big Blue, register to win Utah State Football season ticket packages, and pick up posters and schedule cards for the 2011 fall sports seasons.  

Also, the “Old Wagon Wheel,” won in last season’s USU football victory over BYU, the “Beehive Boot,” the symbol of football gridiron supremacy in the state of Utah, the 2010 WAC Volleyball Tournament Championship trophy, and the 2010 WAC Soccer regular-season trophy will be on display for fans to view and take pictures with.

The Utah State Athletics booth will be located in the lawn exhibit area of the fairgrounds.  The booth will be open Thursday and Friday from 3 – 9 p.m. and Saturday from Noon – 9 p.m.

* 2010 WAC Volleyball Tournament Championship Trophy on display – 3-9 p.m.

* 2010 WAC Soccer Regular Season Trophy on display – 3-9 p.m.

* Members of the Utah State Soccer Team – 6:30-7:30 p.m.

* Meet Big Blue – 7-8:30 p.m.

* Members of the Utah State Volleyball Team – 7:30-8:30 p.m.

Friday, August 12

* Register to win a pair of Utah State Football Season Tickets!

* Members of the Utah State Gymnastics Team – 7-8 p.m.

* Meet Big Blue – 7:30-9:00 p.m.

Saturday, August 13

* Register to win a Utah State Football Family Season Ticket Package!

* “Old Wagon Wheel” on display – Noon-9 p.m.

* Meet Big Blue – 3:30-4:30 p.m.

* Members of the Utah State Women’s Basketball Team – 4-5 p.m.

* Meet Big Blue – 7:30-8:30 p.m.
