Four Aggies named to preseason all-conference squad

The Utah State football team saw four players named to the preseason all-conference team at the Mountain West media days in Las Vegas on Tuesday.

Senior offensive linemen Jake Simonich and Austin Stephens were named to the first team offense and fellow-senior defensive linemen Travis Seefeldt and Ricky Ali’ifua were named to the defensive list.

San Diego State became the first MW school since TCU in 2010 to sweep the individual player awards as senior running back Donnel Pumphrey, senior defensive back Damontae Kazee and junior kick returner Rashaad Penny were named the preseason offensive, defensive and special teams players of the year, respectively.
