Future USU gymnasts perform well at championships

– Future Utah State gymnasts Nikki Felley, Devin Markle andBrittany Price all placed in the top 50 in the all-around out of 250participants at the Junior Olympic Championships last weekend. All threewill be freshman for the Aggies next season.

Felley, a senior at Marcus High School in Flower Mound Texas, was the top performer of the three, finishing ninth in the all-around. She placed 11th on the bars, 17th on both the beam and vault, and 19th on the floor to solidify her top-10 performance.

Markle ended up finishing 18th in the all-around. A senior at Galena HighSchool in Reno, Nev., she had a top-10 performance on the floor (10), then finished 13th on the bars, 25th on the vault, and 32nd on the beam.

A senior at Sandra Day O’Connor High School in San Antonio, Texas, Pricerounded out the field as she placed 49th in the all-around.
