Let’s be economical here
Utah State likes to claim that it’s an environmentally friendly institution. Considering this, I am puzzled by the mostly blank copy balance sheet that accompanies each document I print in the English department lab. I mentioned to an attendant that this is a very wasteful way of informing students of their copy reserve and she shrugged, saying the point had already been made and nothing could be done. Nothing can be done? With all the technology in use on this campus, I’m reasonably sure that a paperless solution can be found. Let’s save all that paper for actual documents rather than dumping reams of it, hot off the printer, into the recycling bin.
