LETTER: Commitment like an affair
Editor,
I find it interesting that President Hall is “still committed to Utah State” yet has committed himself to be a candidate for President of the University of Tennessee. I understand the perks with this new job, and if I had a chance to to double my salary, I would jump at the chance; who wouldn’t? But I question this commitment.
I find it analogous to a married man saying he is still committed to his wife yet actively looking to date other women, with the hopes he might get lucky.
I wish President Hall the best, and if he does get this job the University of Tennessee will surely benefit from his commitment, as we have here at USU.
