LETTER: Don’t forget the advocate

Got Ombudsman?

If any of you have seen this around campus, then you are doing your job. If your curiosity is killing you, then we are doing our job. We, the Ombudsman Committee, or better known as the Student Advocate Committee, want to get the word “ombudsman” out so students know what it means. It’s a fancy word for a person who takes your complaints and acts on them in your behalf. What we want is for you to voice your complaints and to state your opinions. We want to know what you think about issues the school is dealing with, your department or anything else you may want to complain about.

This is your chance to whine and complain and you have an excuse to do so. So why not take advantage of this time to shine; contact us at ombudsman@cc.usu.edu, or call 797-1720. Come voice your concern every Tuesday at 9 p.m. in Taggart Student Center, Room 335, or look for us at upcoming Soapboxes and on the first floor of the TSC.
