LETTER: Go through proper channels

Editor,

First of all I would like to say the first amendment is a wonderful thing. It allows us to speak freely what is on our minds. The ongoing debate as to whether or not Dr. Rohrer should remain director of The Aggie Marching Band is a prime example of this amendment “in action” so to speak.

Two sides are sharing their opinions in an open forum.

This matter should have been taken up with the music department head, Dr. Saperston, or Dr. Rohrer himself. There are proper channels for dissension. I believe it was in poor taste for Mr. Griffin to air his complaints in a public forum instead of going through the proper channels.
