LETTER: More arrests than wins

Does it bother anyone else that we hear about Utah State football players being cited and arrested more than we hear about them winning games? As with most years past, when Utah State football is in the news; it is for the wrong reasons. With the negative attention that the team brings to the university I want to raise the following questions: 1) Why should we rally around the team and make sure that they keep their division I-A status? 2) What have they given to the university that should cause us to give back? It certainly hasn’t been good football!

For the upcoming game, I would like to charge all USU students to keep their aggie blue game day shirts in the closet and wear red instead.
