LETTER: Pick up after yourself
To the editor:
I am getting really annoyed at the mess people make with this newspaper. So I figured that this would be a great way to tell the people that are annoying me that they are doing so. Perhaps people think that is isn’t a big deal when they leave The Statesman on the desks or the floor after class. Well, it is. Not only do our larger classrooms become crapholes on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, the university has to pay someone to clean up the huge mess everyone makes. Which essentialy means that WE have to pay somebody to clean up all the freaking papers. I’m happy that we have a news-savvy student body. I just find it odd that educated people such as ourselves don’t understand what the blue bins at the doors of all the classrooms are for.
