LETTER: Red cross needs volunteers

Dear Editor,

I am writing to ask for volunteers to help with an exciting new program being started by the Logan chapter of the American Red Cross. It is called “Scrubby Bear” and is designed to have volunteers who are interested teach kindergarten through their graders about the importance of good personal hygiene. The program is in desperate need of college-age students who could team up with American Red Cross and take the message throughout the school districts in Cache Valley. There will be a training meeting today from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the American Red Cross building, 1115 No. 200 East.
