LETTER: Show support for X-country

Dear Editor,

I have been following the Utah State University cross country teams and I have been duly impressed by their performance this year. The men’s team has raced against more than 45 teams and only lost to two, both ranked in the top five in the nation.

The Aggie men’s and women’s cross country teams are having a home meet this Friday, and I think it would be great to support some of the best runners to come out of Utah State. They have worked hard and proven themselves against other nationally ranked teams.

They have earned respect nationally and deserve our support locally. Show true Aggie pride by supporting these athletes and come cheer for them at their one and only meet here at Utah State. They compete Friday at the Logan River Golf Course three blocks east of campus on 700 East. The races start at 4:30 p.m. Go Aggies.
